Cauliflower is quickly becoming this year’s Brussels sprouts . . . and here we are with another great use for them: Buffalo Cauliflower from Marcia Selden Catering! Serve ’em up as an app, at your next party, or switch it out with classic chicken wings. Happy noming!
Ingredients for Buffalo Cauliflower Bites
- 1 C Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 C Water
- 1 t Garlic Powder
- 1 t Kosher Salt
- 1 head Cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 C Franks Red Hot Sauce
- 1 stick Salted Butter, melted
- Handful Chopped Parsley
Mix flour, water, salt, and garlic powder in a large bowl and stir until smooth. Add cauliflower and stir until cauliflower is evenly coated with batter.
In a small saucepan combine the Hot sauce and butter and warm till butter is completely melted.
Drop florets into fryer and fry till golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Toss cauliflower until evenly coated with the hot sauce butter mixture.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
We recommend serving with a side of the hot sauce butter mixture and/or creamy blue cheese dressing.
